This is my first post.

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I am trying to find a way to have a series of short video playing in a window on my website in sequence – one after the other – and each time a video plays a button associated with that video is highlighted above, as per the attached sketch.  The buttons would also be clickable and would cause the associated video to play immediately.  This would just keep looping on to the next video and then back to the start again.

 

I would be interested if anyone knows of a plugin that can do this or else, what is the best way to achieve this?

You say you want a plugin. This suggests you are using wordpress.

All you really need is tabbed content - there are number of pliugins that will do this for you.

But if you want the looping to auto play the next video you will need some custom code.

Which means paying someone to do it for you.

However, the whole concept isn't very user friendly. People don't like autoplay. They prefer to select which videos they want to watch from a fully accessible selection. Especially as most will be using a mobile device.

Thank you for the reply.  Yes this will be a Wordpress site. 

So the tabbed content can be videos and they would play when you clicked the relevant tabs, but if I want them to keep going to the next tab and Auto playing it would need additional custom code.  Thank you, I will investigate this further.

 

Regarding usability, this is actually meant for the header section, and videos are just silent animated images, small snippets.

Do not ever use auto play. Ever.

Maybe animated gifs would be better than video.

That's a jpg background with a webm overlay. Not really sure what value it adds. Maybe they have done some user testing and found it increases conversions. Or maybe they just like it because it looks pretty.
