Hi,

 

I have had a niggle for a little while which I have forgotten about until tonight and that is I draw a straight line in Fireworks 8 - but everytime I resize it - it blurs and makes it 2 pixles high and a smudgey look...this is really annoying as I don't always draw the line the correct width and i'm pulling my hair out how to make it re-size perfectly...

 

Any advice would be great.

Oh yes.... I know this one. Ok it's really easy and I hope you don't kick yourself if it works.

 

Once you have re-sized your line and it's blurry simpley goto your stroke options..it would probably say.."Soft Rounded" - if you now select "Hard Line" - it should correct itself.

 

Give it a go.

 

Also another little tip... When you are drawing a line - if you hold the shift button whilst dragging - it will always stay straight and also holding shift whilst drawing a square or circle vector holding shift will retain proportions so the sides will always be equal.
