Basically to outline that problems I'm encountering, I have a domain and a host for a website, but I'm trying to replicate the code from another website and some of the scripts just don't seem to work. thanks in advance.

It's quite possible that the source website has some server side code that is inaccessible to you.

For example, if it uses php there is nothing you can copy. It may also make use of database to hold data.

Do you have access to the source code from the other website?
