problems between IE and FF

Featured Replies

hi all

Well basically, ive got a problem with my navigation. In IE the hovers work and the hover sound works well.

But in FF the hover sound doesnt work.

Also i have a flash gallery that works fine in FF but in IE the shockwave flash gallery dont work?

Any ideas, is this a straight forward thing?

Its a site i'm practising with so any advice would be great!

Thanks guys!

what you need to do is have a separate css style file for ie. search the forums. I know I posted about this a week ago about making a separate css file for ie and how to insert it. 8) That'll solve the problem.

oh forgot to tell you that this will happen all the time. IE is not standards driven so you want to check IE 7 and IE 6 they're different when it comes to viewing. FF is based off of Netscape so it's more standards driven. IE 8 should be better but adoption might be slow in coming. Lots of people are still using IE 6 which was the worst one.8)
