Hello

This is my first ever installation of Drupal so please go gentle! I have installed it with my hosting company, TSOhost, and the following message appears when I log into Drupal.

Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 238 in /var/sites/u/ubereadoolische.com/public_html/drupal/sites/default/settings.php on line 238

Apart from that, the screen is white. Any ideas?

    That sounds really weird.

     

    Could be an error created when you downloaded, extracted or uploaded the files due to a network error or a bad sector on your HD.

     

    If it is a single line comment (// comment ). The line may have been broken into two lines somehow.

    If it is a comment block ( / *comment */ ) The ending */ might have been deleted somehow.

     

    Can you post line 238 from your settings.php?
