January 10, 201511 yr I'm coding up a site for someone and one section features 3 icons with 3 'keywords' beneath each one, like this; What would be the best way of semantically structuring this section to please SEs? My initial thought was as headings, but without any relevant following content, this seems bad practice. Then I thought as an unordered list, but again, this doesn't seem ideal.
January 11, 201511 yr The "we deliver..." part would be a heading, the three calls to action would be fine as an unordered list. I'd recommend using different words, "reach" and "engage" don't really mean anything on their own, reach what, engage what? Use keywords you want to be found for fir the CTA text is always a good idea.

I'm basically just coding the site up from the content they've supplied, but I'm planning to suggest the client rewrites a few parts, including this one. I'm not being paid to design or write copy so I'm not making extra work for myself just yet.
