Hi i was thinking to make my own portfolio where all my projects will be listed. Do you think single page is fine or should i go for dynamic?

A single page would probably suffice. my dynamic I by assuming you mean multiple pages, which isn't really the definition of dynamic..

It may depend on the size of the portfolio and how many fields you operate in.

If it is fairly small a single page will suffice.

However if it is a large portfolio and it covers more than on field, such as Web Design, Graphic Design, Photography, etc. Then it may be better to have a main page with some teasers linking to the sub-pages for each field.

I'll have to agree with this one.

Although normally, some creative agencies (as an example) use singe, long pages now since the idea is probably showing all of their available services in one go without allowing the user to go to different pages, which can have its pros and cons mind you.

In my opinion most potential clients, unless it's for a huge deal won't want to look at more than a few cases, I'd just focus on your most recent or best cases. with maybe the option to ajax some more cases in. Same with testimonials, nobodys going to read 10 of them. If the information is relevant and succinct, for a one man band I'd say a single page is suffice. There may be cases where this isn't the best option like @@nfc212 stated if the op operates in a number of fields. Maybe you'd also have a seperate blog page.

Keep it brief and highlight the best works of yours. Any one visiting would see a single page, maximum would not show the patience of visiting each work on multiple pages.
