Hello... thank you to anyone and everyone who views this and responds.

 

I think I have a decent idea for a website based on my experience and the field I work in. There is very little activity in this area, but for consumers I think it could be very worth while. And I think it could be very easy to create.

 

Only problem is, I have no idea where to start, how to do it, or what to do. I am very limited in budget so I spending mass amounts on a designer isn't really an option at this point. But I believe it could be a very easy project that would take very little time to bring to production.

 

are there any easy to use programs you recommend? I would need basically just the home page, some web forms that I could update, the web form information gets sent to external companies via addresses that I provide and the information also gets logged into a database for the website. So easy that a young programmer with basic skills could do it .... unfortunately I still need to get those basic skills.

 

This is all so daunting to me right now that I am terrified because I have no clue what to do or how to do it.

 

Can anyone help?

 

If you believe in your idea, you could approach investors with it, but you would need something to show, and ideally some proof that it's actually viable, i.e. the site working and generating income.

 

Honestly, and perhaps I'm biased being a designer/coder, but this is something you would need to invest in. Designers and developers are "expensive" because of the value we bring to a business. As a designer, I never make as much on a design as the client does, because that design keeps paying them long after my invoice has been paid. Same with developers, they earn a good wage, because they have to be incredibly knowledgable about what they do, especially when working with databases and such like.

 

There are people out there who will offer you design and build packages for an incredibly low price, but like anything in the market, you get what you pay for. Shop around, get quotes from a number of different designers and developers and compare. NEVER hire someone based solely on price because more than likely you'll regret it.

I think everyone have this problem. and all are searching answer for this problem.

I too have the same problem for my personal website and looking for expertise who can work and I can can have faith.
