Recommended Social Media online training courses?

Featured Replies

Hello folks, long time no post.

I'm currently in the process of hiring an assistant marketer to support my core staff, the assistant's primary focus for the last two quarters will be Social Media.

Can anyone recommend online training course that focus on Social Media, perhaps you completed one yourself and have first hand experience?

I don't mind paying, in fact I'd prefer to pay for a 'tutored' course as opposed to freebie self-learning.

Appreciate any thoughts and experiences of this as I'll admit I've never personally done any 'online' training.

Only ones I can really find that have substance. Beyond those, contact a decent social media management company and see if they offer tutorships, mentoring or training. Our social media guy has a few training customers. Some are basic 8 hour training courses on site to people whilst others are on a training-to-mentorship courses that last 3 months.

Once the basics are nailed on, the understanding is there and competence levels have hit a benchmark then I think it's just down to integration into your internal team, aligning the social stuff nicely with the other marketing channels.
