Research and Development

Featured Replies

When you create a website for a client, what type of research and development do you incorporate?

For instance, would you create a mind or creative map?

Would you research the company?

Would you simply ask questions and do what they ask?

What Is your procedure for carrying out a clients needs and wishes?

Do you skip things like mind maps and consider them a waste of time?

Do you ask the audience questions about what they would like to see on a new website?

I would love to hear how others work in regards to planning and implementation.

1. Ask questions

2. Research the company

3. Research the industry/peers/competitors

4. Review analytics to understand audiences, usage, etc.

5. Report back and collaborate to decide on a route/strategy/whatever you're delivering

In my experience, the best work spawns from collaborative efforts with clients.
