June 17, 200818 yr I was just wondering if there was a CMS out there that I could buy and then legally sell to my customers? Or otherwise a reseller option or a referrals pakage on a CMS? Being able to buy once and then redistribute would be ideal, but I'm not sure what's available, and Google is no help on this matter. The system wouyld ideally: Be IIS compatible Cost less than £500 Look knida sexy so people make 'oohing' noises when they see it Not have a cheesy name I was just wondering what everybody else uses for IIS systems? How do you all sell CMSs? Thanks.
June 17, 200818 yr uum i am getting a cms made for me i can show you that if you like when that is done. Do you have msn or email?
June 18, 200818 yr Author Ooh, yes I'd be interested in hearing more. My email is alexstott (at) gmail.com Thanks. And can anyone point me to a good place where I can get one built please? I'm looking at all options at the moment.
June 18, 200818 yr What language would you want the CMS written in? What features do you need it to have? With IIS I think your best bet would be asp or asp.net with a MSSQL or possibly MySQL backend.
June 19, 200818 yr Author I don't really care if it's written in Ancient Egyptian heirogyplics; as long as it has a good compatability rate with Microsoft servers, I would be very happy... ...I'm fairly sure heirogyplics was what I had to write Delphi in when I was in college...
June 19, 200818 yr As a genral rule you shouldn't use a windows server as a production server for PHP applications. So I would definitely go for asp or asp.net.
