April 24, 201412 yr Hi guys, I've just launched a small website and since changing the nameservers, the site has become really slow. I don't know if that's a reason or if that was just a coincidence. I've checked the plugins footprint and they're only 1% of the load time. It was all running super quick up to last week when the nameservers were changed. Has anyone seen or come across this before? Any help would be gratefully received!! http://www.car-spa.no Many thanks, Aled M Edited April 24, 201412 yr by Aled Mann
April 24, 201412 yr Pingdom may give you some insight here (http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/?testurl=http://www.car-spa.no/#!/TgNPy/http://car-spa.no). You will benefit from reducing the size of your images and implementing some kind of caching. Is this the only site running off that server with speed issues?
May 11, 201412 yr Could be a few things. Since you didn't experience this until changing nameservers, it seems like it may be a hosting thing. You can also use Pingdom like Jack mentioned to try to get some better analysis of what's loading on your pages and how long it's taking. I'd also recommend using the P3 Profiler plugin, which analyzes the plugins that are impacting your load times.
