Although the qr codes that you can generate on that site are limited functionality there is a lot of information and some links that you might find handy.

thanks that is helpful. The QR code has to be overlay on top of the image, I best just create the image and let one of these sites do the rest. I tried :)

There is a link on that site that allows you to embed a basic image within the code for free. But the image is very basic.

Without hijacking the thread, for others reading this thread. If you have seen my post in another thread about mobile optimization and SEO in which I declared how much growth in mobile device based online enquiries in a year my businesses have seen, would using a Qr-code be a good idea on my business cards and flyers, or would it just look like a gimmick?
