February 21, 201412 yr Hi, In the past I had quite a few good ideas for domain names and often found that the .com or .co.uk were already domain squatted. (And I'm not even talking "one-word-name".com... ). There's one name in particular, I've been looking at for 1-2 years and it keeps getting renewed, yet there's absolutely ZERO content on that si. Anyway. I feel that with the new TLD coming out now, there's opportunity for me to register my desired domain-name with a suitable TLD and I want to be "first in the queue" so-to-say. Are there any official launch dates for the new TLDs? And where can I find out which domain name seller will actually be selling a specific TLD? Some sites offer "pre-registration" – is there any benefit in doing so, or is it just a money-making scheme, with no guaranteed domain name in the end? Appreciate all your thoughts & comments on this!
February 25, 201412 yr Hi Driftwood, You can find a timeline for the new gTLD launches at https://www.rrpproxy.net/Domains/nTLD_Launch_Dates.html, and we have one on our site also at http://www.frankdomains.com/register-new-gtlds/ which has pricing info as well as an explaination of the terms used. Good luck with registering your domain. FrankDomains Edited February 25, 201412 yr by frankdomains
March 27, 201412 yr If you are interested in these new gTLDs you could have a read at our latest blog post, this can be visited here: http://blog.hostlove.co.uk/new-gtlds/#more-26 We have included statistics regarding the sales of the new gTLDs and a few other statistics - enjoy!
April 16, 201412 yr There are more gTLD than people interested in purchasing gTLD. Hoarding gTLD for future use does not make sense. Your content what is going to work in Google, the domain itself means next to nothing. BTW, HostLove is another generic brand of ioMart Group PLC incase you wondered.
