October 13, 201312 yr Hello all, I'm Dave from York. I've got a good few years experinence in design for print, publishing and editorial design but have always wanted to put my qualifications in digital multimedia to better use. Over the last year or so I've been "re-learning" html and css (when I learned code first time round it was all about tables!) and starting to learn jquery, with the aim of eventually moving over to full-time freelance web development. Anyway,... that's enough for now. So Hello again, and I hope you'll all be gentle with me. lol

October 15, 201312 yr Hi Dave. Welcome to the forum. WDF might turn out to be a very useful resource in your "relearning" process. I know I've learned a lot from the posts here. And with your experience in graphic design I'm sure you can contribute as well.
October 15, 201312 yr when I learned code first time round it was all about tables! Wheeyyy, good ole <table> days! I was randomly scanning the code of one of my websites and discovered there was a table being used to hold content, rather than a div, which I'd forgot to convert years ago. I genuinely slapped myself upon discovery. Welcome aboard, hope your own rediscovery goes well.
