September 30, 201312 yr Hi, How to Do These Perspective type Effect in Photoshop? I mean it has a feeling like the image is laid on a table or surface and you're seeing it from top with a angle. See these links below https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12360312/print-graphic-design-templates.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12360312/001-stationary-branding-corporate-identity-mock-up-simplified-vol-1-2.jpg http://www.pixeden.com/psd-mock-up-templates/stationary-branding-mock-up-vol-1-2 Please let me know or any tutorials. I tried to do this in Photoshop using Perspective, distort, skew etc. but its not coming like those effects. Thank you
September 30, 201312 yr see here that is not exactly wht u looking for .. but it wud give u some idea how its done
October 1, 201312 yr Author Nope... Its just putting a layer, applying blur and bla bla. Those cards, you will see they use perspective or distort or skew tool ( thats what I think till now) but there dimensions are perfect even after perspective. If I skew it the dimensions r becoming ****.
October 1, 201312 yr the link tht u provided allows free download.. why dont u download those files and check yourself how its done? there are photoshop actions too that can create that sort of effect u can convert any 2d objects to 3d if u have clear drawing concept and warp skew are the tools that are used here but maybe u r not achieving desired result due to ur lack of knowledge in drawing did tht in hurry Edited October 1, 201312 yr by sash_oo7
October 1, 201312 yr Author The links I provided are Illustrator Files. I use Photoshop. Also those effects include use of tools like (skew or warp) in Illustrator which cannot be learnt by seeing the files... I have to learn the method.
October 1, 201312 yr Author Ahh well well well, I know warp and skew is used but how do they use those tools that after or during warping or skewing they maintain the same dimensions of the original image? While I am skewing 1st of all my dimensions get changed and 2ndly its getting distorted ... my shapes r becoming rhombus types.
October 1, 201312 yr chk my edited post above .. if possible post ur 2d image here .. i will try to convert it into 3d and i guess u can open illustrator files in photoshop too see here
October 1, 201312 yr Author OK I saw your orange image. Yes the Angle is perfect... But I think the edges have been affected a bit while distorting or skewing.... If we see in High resolution it might be more clear Anyway what tool you used? Skew or Perspective?
October 1, 201312 yr This is a good tutorial on how to do it. Obviously you don't need to use the same artwork that he does. Just find something you like the angle of and copy his technique. Also have you heard of the vanishing point tool? It's a little different to Skew and Perspective but it can be very handy too.
October 1, 201312 yr Author Thank you J0. Btw, here is one I made... Any criticism https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12360312/ssss.jpg Thank you
