Image moves down

Featured Replies

I have a minor problem, I have 3 images on the homepage but for some reason the one nearest the right moves down. They are all placed in a larger div and that is set to margin: 0px auto; Also i was wanting to add 3 or 4 little link buttons next to the nav buttons in the white space. FB, Twitter and perhaps Linked In for example. What would be the best way to do this? The site is

www.cherrietestingwebsite.org Thanks for your help.

You can achieve this by floating 'weightloss, musclebuilding & nutrition' to the left and removing the margin: 0 auto.

You should then have three boxes that are sitting against each other. Add a right margin to each, and remove the final margin on the last div using something like this.

Started looking at your markup and was just coming to the conclusion of floating your div's but looks like J.P has already suggested it. Don't forget to play with the margins without setting them to auto in this case. Just out of curiosity - what was your solution to fixing your image issue?

Aw yeah **** i meant to message you regarding that, when i read your message regarding the image looking like it had been stretched. I thought yeah it does so i then checked the banner size and seen it was something like 963 by 246 or something like that, i would have to check the exact amount. I wen't back and checked the photo size and seen I had exported them at 646 by 272 or something along those lines, that is why the text was blurred. Thanks for bringing that to my attention your a life saver. I wasted so much time over something so stupid. That will teach me in future. It looks a lot better now but have some work to do with the fonts as some of them do not look right. I was also looking to get a logo done as I can't use illustrator, not sure if you do logos at all? Thanks for the help guys.

You're welcome :) I didn't mean to push for an answer to my reply as such, was curious on how you got on as I had similar problems with Nivo. Glad that you got it done though. It's not really wasting time if you manage to learn from it. Chances are, it'll happen again. I've lost count the amount of time I've wasted of typography! I probably spend more time on that than anything and no one notices the difference!

I do logo design, yes, but please don't take it the wrong way but I'd rather not take on work through the forum. I'm more than happy to give you some pointers along the way though, so feel free to reply to this or pm. Always love a good logo challenge though, so feel free to bounce some ideas off each other :D
