  1. Thanks tried it in a few browsers and works fine in pretty much all of them, quite a cool little piece of software, thanks for that.
  2. Hey everyone was just curious as to how my site looks across most browsers. I have tested it in all the major ones and pretty much have the latest versions of each browser, opera ff, chrome etc. However some people say the contact form doesn't work, it seems to in mine though and I am testing it online not off. The site is www.scottcherrie-personaltraining.com . Thanks.
  3. Hello everyone I have used a build in contact form from Jot Form which I like but it doesn't display correctly on iphones. I really like using jot form, quick easy and easy to up date. Just need to make sure it works correctly on smart phones. The web address is http://www.scottcherrie-personaltraining.com/contact.html Thanks
  4. I was just wondering about how the book now button looks in IE on net render it seems to be all over the place, however when I open IE and view the page the book now button displays perfectly. In safari on my laptop the site is fine on my mobile the contact form doesn't stretch down the page properly. The site is www.scottcherrie-personaltraining.com
  5. Yeah worked well thanks and I now have it on the site, www.scottcherrie-personaltraining.com and it seems to be fine in every browser however am not sure how it looks in IE on my computer in IE it looks fine but on net render when I try it in different versions of IE it doesn't. Also on my computer in safari it's fine when I try it on safari on my iphone the contact form doesn't stretch right down the page? Thanks for your help btw
  6. Hello everyone I am looking to place the book now button attached with this post in the top right hand corner of the page but I am not sure how to as the whole top header is an image. I know I need to do a stack overflow of some sort but I am not sure how. Can anyone help, the site homepage is www.scottcherrie-personaltraining.com The book now button is attached below. Thanks for the help
  7. Hello everyone I am looking to take out the phone number out of the homepage which is easy enough as I actually just done it in photoshop and exported it as topbg pic. However what I am looking to do is place a Book Now button and have it lead to the contact page. However when I have put it in, it displays the page incorrectly. The link to the site is www.scottcherrie-personaltraining.com and attached is a screenshot of what the page looks like with the button inserted into it. I have also attached the hompeage and style sheet coding. I am sure it is not something major but am not sure how to sort it out. Any help would be very appreciated, thank you. index.html style.css
  8. When I view links on my homepage in opera offline they work fine however online they don't, normally its a path problem but in this case I can't establish what it is, I have took some screenshots to show you what I mean and my <HR> doesn't show either, however in chrome it does. The website is www.cherrietestingwebsite.org
  9. Yes its in opera that the read more links on the homepage don't float to the right and I fixed the problem with the footer. Also in opera and firefox the hr doesn't show between the pictures and the twitter plugin and about me sections
  10. Hey everyone my first <HR> link is not displaying properly in some browsers, for some reason it just disappears and doesn't show and my read more links don't float to the right and work properly in opera when the site is uploaded to the net. However they seem to work fine offline, bit strange. There is a slight problem with the border wrapping round the footer in the contact me page, not sure what is causing it. The website is www.cherrietestingwebsite.org
  11. Great guys thanks for the help, very much appreciated. I will sort those things out and remove the underlines
  12. On my contact page the background disappears think there is some problem with the divs, as the border isn't properly wrapping round the container tag. Also on the homepage the <HR> between the 3 pictures and the twitter plugin and about me section doesn't appear in some browsers, for example opera, the read more links beneath those pictures align fine in all browsers offline but not opera when online. I was also looking to align the navigation buttons up against the sliding banner to get rid of the white gap, i tried valign bottom to align it to the bottom of the nav div but it didn't work for some reason? the website is www.cherrietestingwebsite.org
  13. I am trying to use a basic css drop down menu as it would allow me to add pages to my site easily and expand it in the future with no real problems. I found a nice script but some of the things I can't get quite placed how I want them. I am trying to move the slider right up against the nav bar, I am sure I put a massive padding bottom on something when I was playing around with it. The nav menu doesn't overlap the slider, would using stack overflows be away around this. I am also trying to move the social network buttons in line with the nav bar. The links don't center despite me using margin 0x auto; through out the nav links When I move onto subcategories the main link disappears I was also trying to make the black line go right up the side of the links not begin half way down and stretch too far down. I have been playing around with it for hours and its not too far away but I couldn't get round these obstacles. The site is www.cherrietestingwebsite.org Thanks.
  14. Hey yeah sorry, just read that back its www.cherrietestingwebsite.org

  16. Hey thanks for the advice everyone I implemented a twitter widget, the fb like box took too long to load I used a iframe to implement it but it just slowed my whole page down, bit unfortunate but it wasn't a necessity to be honest.
  17. Hey I recently implemented a twitter plugin that I found on my personal trainers website. I really like the plugin, it seems to load fast and work well. I found that the fb like box for some reason added a lot of load time onto my page so decided against implementing it and I can integrate both via the twitter plugin anyhow. The only problem is it has of courses been styled using css and I couldn't find the necessary coding to style the widget. It is quite a large site and well beyond my level of expertise. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could style it. Also it has affected the divs on my homepage too. The website I took the widget from was http://www.mikeheatlie.com/ The website homepage I am trying to implement it on is http://www.cherrietestingwebsite.org/ Any help as always is appreciated as it is beyond my level of expertise if I am being honest

  20. I am looking to add similar plugins to this website on the homepage similar to this one. I found a great little one for twitter but I am looking to get a fb one that is exactly the same as the one on this homepage but couldn't find one. I was also wondering if there is one for blogspot too but am not sure if there is or if you can create it via an iframe, I had a look but couldn't find one. An example of what I am trying to achieve is on this homepage: http://www.kimlyons.com/
  21. Yeah thanks for your help that worked great across all browsers. Thanks again. For some reason when I run my pages through xhtml validators it says I have an extra div in the pages, then makes reference to the container tag, however I can't see where I have an extra one?
  22. Thank you for your help, the text at the top of each pages, it does mention these are my services, click the category for more information. Then on the tips page it says, nutritional tips click the category for more information. As I did think that perhaps people who didn't use computers a lot may not realize to click the category. I have tried editing the jquery but am not sure what parts to edit to hidden, show or hide etc. I have no idea how to write jquery this is a script I just copied and pasted in to stop the user having to scroll as much.
  23. I am looking to collapse the jquery accordion menus on the how can i help and useful tips pages. When the page loads the menus are already open, I am not sure why or how to make sure they are collapsed when the page loads? The link is http://www.cherrietestingwebsite.org/tips.html http://www.cherrietestingwebsite.org/help.html
  24. For some reason the images on the how can I help and useful tips page overlap the next heading down and for some reason, the menus appear fully open as opposed to collapsed when the page loads. How do I get around this? Thanks. The website is www.cherrietestingwebsite.org
