BROWSER BUGS (Issue 4)

Featured Replies

hi if you look @ my site in any other browser bar chrome you will notice in the header that a form apears where it shouldnt. there is a link in the footer @ the bottom of my page that when clicked the form apears, and this is how i meant it, it works in chrome no problem. just curious & wondering how i can fix this to work the same in all browsers.

Plus there are 1 or 2 little details that would need sorting so all browsers look the same.

Thanks

You have a javaScript error:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token } canvas.js line 148

This may be what's causing the fancybox to not display correctly in IE etc.

I imagine you just need to comment out the line that the error is appearing on. Try that and see if it resolves your issue.

If not, get back to me :)

its the display property for the form thats the issue i think.. it dont work across browsers. im reading this @ the moment see if it can help, and maybe even help others on here.

I can't see what's wrong here. I can still see the canvas javaScript error though. I'd fix that or remove that script if you're not using it. It's hard to debug with other errors which may or may not be related to your issue.

Update: I think this could be your issue. I'm receiving this error when I'm clicking on the quote link:

GET http://m-robert-white.co.uk/webforms/webforms2.js?_=1365518878485 404 (Not Found) jquery.js:4

Also, there's nothing in the webforms2.js file. It's empty.

ook ive commented out all the canvas related stuff. . the strange thing is, that in IE & FF the form aprears in the header, but when you click the link in the footer 'website quote' the problem is eradicated (for that load) & nowt appears in the header. Plus the actual form (pop out) is very much smaller than in chrome. Weird!!
