Hi, I've spent approximately half a day searching various tutorials on creating social media buttons. I've found a good one for my facebook button (facebook itself). And this great one on youtube subscribe button http://www.reelseo.com/youtube-subscribe-button/.

 

Ideally this one would be fantastic http://sharethis.com/publishers/get-sharing-tools, as it's so minimalistic, however it does not seem to work. But I am testing locally on Mamp, could this be causing it? Also I don't see how the code could work, as there doesn't seem to be anything customizable on it creating the links to your own channels etc.

 

Anyone know any good tutorials links etc, I want facebook like and share, twitter, linked in, google + and email the page.

What exactly do you want? Buttons to share your page, or buttons to follow your various channels?

At the moment I'm only working on buttons to share the page.

There's no settings for your page etc., it's all handled with the JavaScript as far as I remember. Very simple

Nowadays social media site is such a great medium for all business marketing. If you are looking for tutorial site to learn how to create social media button on the site than you have to do google search for it. It's provide you number of tutorial site to learn it.

I used to use Sharethis on my wordpress site.

I completely removed it when I started to pay attention to site performance.

It looks sexy, it's easy to customize, copy-pase for websites.

But why can't they load their content via CSS? It slows down the page so much that I could not accept.

Well as I said I'm on WP and I replaced Sharethis with '!Share'.

No issues ever since then.

Yeah I've gotta say, I'm not too impressed with ShareThis atm. Customer service is very poor, and no matter what I enter, facebook share button will not appear adn ruins my browser width.

I am also looking for tutorials for making the social media buttons, but I couldn’t found any sufficient resource for it, Thanks to you for sharing a best resource.
