Problem uploading Templates

Ok, so I have previously only used Joomla when Im messing around with sites on my localhost.

 

But, this time, I am doing it on a live site. When I try to upload a new template it isnt working. I am putting in the install from directory folder, the folder that this file is located at...

 

Should I be entering were it is on my computer such as "documents/john/templates/..." or should I be uploading it to the templates folder using filezilla and then entering the address such as "public_html/templates/..." etc...

 

Even If I transfer the file using filezilla it still isnt appearing in my templates..

 

Hopefully someone can give me an answer soon.
