January 9, 201313 yr Hi all, I have just built a new joomla website for the school I work at ( Teignmouth Community School www.teignmouth.devon.sch.uk) It seemed to run fine in the testing phase, but now its live and SWGFL have changed the DNS ( I know this should not effect the running of the site) the site has a few issues, the biggest being on the home page (mill lane primary phase ) it seems something is conflicting or not being called which is stopping the menu dropdowns from loading. Now I developed a joomla site as I am not particulaly ofey with coding, I know just enough to get by with templating hacks, ( I am an apprentice who was tasked to build a new site, and have had no trainnig in web design....) please could someone point me in the right direction? http://web03.vws.ifl.net/~r37670/joomla/index.php/en/ many thanks!
January 10, 201313 yr There's an error in a script used by Free Slide slideshow module, which is causing your menu to break. Chrome has very good web dev tools built in, it makes spotting issues like this a cinch; right-click > inspect element > console > F5.
January 11, 201313 yr Author thanks for the advice, i have seemed to isolate the problem, abd turning off joomla's built in cache seemed to do the trick, oddly
