January 2, 201313 yr In Google AdWords Keyword Tool, are the Global Monthly Searches (or Local Monthly Searches) figures to be taken exactly as they are or do they need be be multiplied? for example: if it says Global Monthly Searches are 52 does that actually mean 52, or does it mean 520,5200 etc?
January 2, 201313 yr Take it as is. If it says 52 then it's 52. If it's 3,200,000 then that is the amount. You need to take it with a pinch of salt. They're rough figures and can fluctuate. I have websites that rank for a keyword that has 720 searches per month, but I'll end up with 100-200 people on the website. Sometimes more, but you get the idea. I do believe the figures are taken from the previous month as well. But to answer your question, no maths needed. Take as is
January 11, 201313 yr Yes take them 'as is'... always remember to tick 'exact' and not broad or phrase lol
