December 10, 201213 yr I'm relatively new to web design. My background is as a graphic designer for print, but getting asked non-stop if I can do web sites made me sign up for an intro course at the local college. It briefly covered some basics, like html & CSS, but only skimmed over stuff like J-Query, PHP, Flash, CMS etc. Just one night a week for an academic year meant it was more a case of 'this is what it's called, here's a link'. Consequently, I can just about throw something together and get it on line but I guarantee (code-wise) it will make you rage. So lots of dumb questions... ...you know like the "I thought the dude said he'd done a college course???" ones coming your way. On the plus side, I can advise on print, so if someone is expecting you to transform their web presence into something printed, I can help. Trivia - I also do archery - hence the name. Cheers!
December 10, 201213 yr Cool. Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about asking "dumb" questions, we've all been there and this forum is very helpful.
December 13, 201213 yr Hello, I'm from East Yorkshire also. Good to see someone else from these regions of wilderness.
