September 14, 201214 yr Not sure where else to put this thread... I have been asked to knock up a simple picture (user submitted) rating website. Simple rate good / bad and then like out of 5 stars ranking etc. Sort of like this: http://icanhas.cheezburger.com/ But also all those meme sites etc. Is there a wordpress plugin in or something? Im not good enough to make one from scratch but im sure theres some sort of plugin out there seeing as all these sites look the same?
September 14, 201214 yr I don't know if there's a plugin for that. But what I do know is that it's easy to make a simple rating system if you have some knowledge off PHP and SQL. Cheers
September 14, 201214 yr Author Yeah was thinking about doing it from scratch via PHP. Shall have to re engage the PHP side of my brain haha. Just thought there was a plugin of somesort seeing as there is loads of these types of sites that look the same... just cant find any atm to check their source code...
September 16, 201214 yr There is a theme called smashing multimedia which you think of. It doesn't really have any likes but it has an option where users can rate the images. Alternatively you could take a look at this plugin which offers the like option http://bplike.wordpress.com/
