September 13, 201213 yr I'm doing a complete rebuild of my site/business/approach to work at the moment, so I'm playing around with some design ideas. I'd be interested to know what you think of this...
September 13, 201213 yr I like the concept of the inverted writing, I think it looks good! While a lot of this is down to taste, I think due to the nature of your work (copywriting) it might be worth trying a serif font, nothing too OTT but just something to give your text a little more stylistic 'oomph' than the sans serif capitals. Second to that I think that the overall feel of the logo could be improved a lot by changing the colours. I find the current combination of a capital sans-serif font with a slightly in your face colour combo to be a bit too reminiscent of "WAIT THERE'S MORE" type advertisements, and you're a copywriter using the subtleties of language to convey meaning to an audience. (This isn't to diminish your overall logo idea which I think is an excellent choice for a copywriter!) Maybe something more like: I mean that's by no means perfect, and I can see why you used capitals because getting the kerning to balance off on either side of the 'she' is a pain in the posterior, but I think it could be worthwhile! Good luck, Eoin
September 13, 201213 yr As Eoin said. A different color scheme could come in handy here. I like the idea, and when you see the logo Eoin came up with I tottaly love it. Due to a different scheme the emphasis is on she as that is quite important here i think.
