I have started a new business and a new eCommerce site

 

Although there still are many product categories to add, i was planning on starting to promote the first category on adwords.

I am trying to create a furniture retailer that is known for its modern furniture across all categories

 

please can you give me some feedback?

 

my only concern is i think i need to add some more wooden tables to my catalog? as they are quite popular and i only have a couple on at the moment.

 

what do you think?

Call me wrong, but I think that this is the wrong place to be asking about what products you should have on the site.

 

In terms of design I would say it is not too bad..for a template cough cough...

 

What I will say is that the blue on the page doesn't really work for me. Rather than looking at the products I seem to be drawn to the price section first. Price is important but I would think that you would want a user to imagine the products in their home first...rather than how much will be leaving their bank.

 

The logo may look better if a slightly less messy font was used. I like the style that you have tried to achieve, just isn't quite there.

 

So basically colour and the logo.

Posts like this annoy the hell out of me. You've done ZERO design. You;ve gone to http://themes.shopah....myshopify.com/ and downloaded a template. Where the herll is the design in that?

 

So, take a look at http://furnitureclub.co.uk/ and then http://themes.shopah....myshopify.com/ and wonder what design/work has actually been done by yourself. IT's even more silly because shopify is a hosted ecommerce solution as far as I'm aware, so you didn;t even have to install it on your own hosting.

 

Absolutely insulting that you;d come to a forum asking for design feedback on a template you've used. If I was an admin you;d be suspended right now

 

well at least he changed the blue background of the product price etc. Your totally right about it being annoying as it seemed to be business feedback he wanted rather than on design. His logo still needs changed. He would benefit alot more from a bespoke design as it would tell alot about his company....still won't be the last template that we see
