Header Bug

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

When I visit my new blog, I see an issue with the header, it is overflowing to the sides a bit, like this screenshot, is it same for you ?

Cause on Chrome on my VPS box, I don't get that issue, but on Chrome on my local PC, I do get that ! What do you see ?

Thank You.

Ciwan.

Hey Ciwan,

It looks good on my Mac. (using Firefox)

Than I looked it up on Windows 7, and something strange happens. ( again with Firefox )

After the page is fully loaded it looks good for like 3 seconds, than the header becomes a little wider out of nothing and it overflows the menu.

Are you using JavaScript to style your elements , maybe ?

Cause I never saw elements changing their style after the page is loaded.

Hope it helps,

Léon.

Exactly ! I just can't understand why this would happen. :shok:

Thanks Léon.

Well there's 2 errors in the console on your homepage. It's complaining about the viewport meta tag and also that it can't load a stylesheet because of cross domain issues.

Try changing your viewport meta tag to:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0">

And your stylesheet link to:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.learnwithc.com/wp-content/themes/confidence/style.css" type="text/css" media="all" class="cssfx" />
