Hi, I've got a job with a IT company (primarly a salesforce.com headhunting outfit) who are all about "the cloud". They are looking for a cloud based web app that will allow customers to log in to a website and check on the status of thier projects. I put forward that I could probably do this with a wordpress powered site and a couple of plug-ins, but they really want something cloud-based (I know this sems a little odd, but it's their dime). Anyone have any ideas?

Allows me to operate an area where the clients can check on progress and make comments etc and then collates invoices at the end etc etc

 

As for cloud based, well they install it on their server and that's all cloud based is really.
