May 20, 201214 yr Please tell me what I can improve only coded homepage so far Visit the example Thanks guys! Kind regards
May 20, 201214 yr THe graphic immediately struck me as subtly wrong. When I looked at it for a second, I realised it was because you'd reversed it and the fella's reaching out to shake hands with his left. A user isn't going to waste time figuring out why it strikes the wrong note, they're there to use the site, not critique it. They'll just be left with a feeling of wrongness and they'll likely hit the Back button because of it. Edited May 20, 201214 yr by Renaissance-Design
May 20, 201214 yr Author So I should reverse him? or find a replacement that is already giving his left hand? Any other feedback or do you like the rest of the "feel"? Edited May 20, 201214 yr by Trustworthy3
May 20, 201214 yr Get rid of that guy, he is on the web more then spiderman! But really, I have seen that guy in templates from years ago. it could do with something moving on there like a news reel or a drop-down menu, maybe you could use the Our services for a reel or something. It’s not very expandable, the guys head is in the way of adding anymore headings. Templates are a tough market as there are so many good ones out there for $60, I think you might struggle to sell it without anything special. But keep trying and you will come up with something new that someone will want.
May 20, 201214 yr Author why do you keep supplying the same link for different reviews? I have an account of free hosting, and I use it to build my templates on it I'm just practicing with different setups and layouts. Is that forbidden or something? Sorry if it is Hmm ok i'll try and come up with something new then, really tought I had something good here
May 20, 201214 yr Well I think using the guy on your website, doesn't make you a designer, you just use stuff from others, your can better make your own picture and use it, then you have an original design made by yourself Cheers
May 20, 201214 yr Author The problem is that older threads then have irrelevant links. Oh my bad! I'll use different folders on my ftp server and link to them is that okay? Update -Changed the banner text, it is now rotating between different slogans using javascript (since there was feedback saying i needed something moving) -Removed the guy that is appearantly on alot of websites and replaced him with 4 different ones Thanks for taking the time to give me more feedback! Kind regards Edited May 20, 201214 yr by Trustworthy3
May 21, 201214 yr i think the people on the right look weird. I wouldn’t use humans on a website unless there is something unique about them. From my experience these days’ people have more interest in individuality, rather than putting someone’s mug in a suit on the page. The moving text is good! That is popular at the moment. Make sure you comment in your documentation and code where to change the text for these slogans.

Make sure you comment in your documentation and code where to change the text for these slogans. Couple of questions: -Hmm so I should rather use objects? I think when it would really be for a firm I could just use a picture of them? But i'll try and find something to use for the banner! -I deleted the border around the wrapper, is it better like this? or with a border around the whole site? -I added a hover effect to the main navigation -Should I leave the black box (to the right on the Home page) on every page or switch it up? Thanks for the complement about the text And thank you guys for answering my questions! Kind regards Edited May 21, 201214 yr by Trustworthy3
