Spry accordian from ajax. seems to work 100% fine in google chrome but is riddle with issues when tried in other browsers, even firefox

 

not to concerned with making it very backwards compatible i.e 7 so on

but would like to work in the relativity newer browsers

 

does anyone have ideas

Ditch Spry and use something based on a decent framework, like jQuery.

well after some research on your suggestion, i have decided to take your advice.

Jquery doesn't really ever present major cross browser issues in my experience. You should ALWAYS give a JS free alternative so that things degrade gracefully though.
