Its a section of a website page, I've stripped out the rest, hopefully to make it easier to help.

 

The navigation sits about another 50px to the left in IE and I can't see why?

 

Its important because in the finished design the logo sits inline with the home button perfectly in Opera and FF but just not bloody IE.

 

Any advise who be great thanks.

You've added the reset before any other rules?

I was advised to add http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/ to my site to reset the sizing for all browsers?

Try removing the width setting in your #menu, it seems to sort out your issue
