The Site url is supose to be www.trues h i t.org without spaces.

Hi, about a week ago I started my new website www.true****.org, where my users are presented with "true****" images.

 

I've noticed that it became kinda popular very fast, so it seams like my users like the page, BUT I created this very fast and just for fun, I did not expected this many people to visit my site, so I just putted someting together.

 

With my current viewrate(295267 pictureviews since 2012-02-08), I feel like I realy need to make my page more nicer so my users will return.

 

So please give me feedback on my page, I dont expect anyone to like the layout as it is now so give me any ideas.

Absolutely love it! I think you might have a hit here. It's simple and quirky - great...

 

It's my view you need to do nothing other than make something of the navigation links - 'spin the wheel' etc. Maybe in the same font as the true**** logo - white on black.

 

A couple of little things I noticed.

 

1. I gave it a Digg but noticed it picked up the www.pixholder.com rather than the true**** domain. You might want to fix that.

 

2. The meta keywords should be like content="true****,cartoons,**** happens, daily life, funny side of life", not a sentence like the meta description. Although, keywords are not used by search engine much anyway any more.

 

3. Get an H1 tag in there for SEO - not in the iframe.

Well done on this, I really like it, so much infact I was wondering if we could help eachother.

 

Im currently creating a site called www.delvedeeper.co and at the moment it is similar to Stumbleupon but I'm planning on adding some unique features, but check it out anyway, it's still under development but...

 

I notice you have added the 'addthis' bar so that people can share your content, I was wondering if I created my own before I add my site to 'addthis' would you be interested in itergrating it into your site so the different pictures can be added to DelveDeeper and people will come across it, will help drive a bit more traffic to your site.

Its been a while since I started this thread now, and much have happened to the site(a whole new layout), so why dont you guys take a new look at www.trueshi t.org(without the space) and tell me what you think now

Spin the wheel is a nice tool on the site

 

I do agree the sites loads a bit slow, but it is not anoying, because there isenough other good stuff on the website

The design is dark, but that works out really well with the other elements Great Job

If you have a hit, don't ruin it before it's a massive hit! Clean it up a little as you are getting some serious views on those images, I know you may wan't some revenue, but it'll be nice to see a website like this carry some true web style and it will make it seem more valuable.

 

A little bit of a tidy will boost your ratings.

 

I inspected some elements and played about with the css to change the position of the box, etc. My personal opinion would be to remove the top add and raise the images and have a bit more padding.

 

i've attached an image with a changed table compared to the rest and moved it up..

 

Also - you could, as that's a moveable percentage on the green bar, move what ever is changing the percentage into the bar and display as a paragraph or something, similar to how my bars are on this page:

that way you can see the exact percentage of those who like? (just an idea)
