Free for personal use fonts?

Featured Replies

Hi, I was wondering if free for personal use fonts allowed me to use the font on my own portfolio page?

Thanks.

try font squirrel, or dafont. If you use any from dafont make sure you check the license first before you use it.

Yer, I have seen some fonts on dafont, I have checked the licensing on some of the fonts, but some I want have a 'Free for personal use', now what is considered personal use, does that allow me to use that font on my own portfolio site?

Free for personal use usually means that you don't make any money from the project you have used them in.

Font Squirrel and dafont have got the best selection by far

You can also look at Google fonts, they are free and you can easily use them as live text in your portfolio
