Presenting the Logo to the Client

Featured Replies

So you've finished working on a nice new logo for your client and it's time to show them your work.

How do you go about presenting your work to create the best effect?

Would you go as far as some of the designers on Behance for example?

Maybe take the lead from some clients, copy/paste it into a word document at 150x150 pixels and fax it to them!

^ according to LV anything else might be overkill anyway..

Thanks, Glowbridge - I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes!

Well since nobody else answered and my post was just an attempt to make a funny I feel kinda ****ty. So here is a proper answer.

I'd go with a white page with plenty of padding, logo in the middle. Then have 1 or 2 basic mockups giving them an impression of what it would look like in every day life. Maybe one on their website, one on a letter head, on a mug. Stuff like that. Try to give them a little bit of context. It's less 'wowing' than revealing their brand new logo in large scale on its own but I think it would help convey that it will look good in any application.
