nice and simple and clean... although being a restaurant I'd love to see more food showcased

I like that so far frankds - it has a nice feel to it, in keeping with the subject matter. Will be interesting to see the final results.

Hehe, the first thing I thought about was adding some nice pictures of the signature dishes made there on the front page.

 

If they are willing to update it regularly, you could add meal of the day or menu of the week on the page as well.

 

 

If the restaurant has a nice exterior, i would put it in the header background.
