April 13, 200818 yr It's not finished, and the final site will be shown on the first page before you begin. In the end it'll be a .zip available for download with any images included. There should be enough there for beginners to get started. I'll finish it tomorrow probably. Work through it by looking at the source code of each page and making changes to your own at the same time. http://www.brett-munro.com/MakeThisWebsite
April 13, 200818 yr A fantastic idea - wish I'd had use of it when I first learned HTML & CSS - it would have made it so much easier.
April 14, 200818 yr Hey thanks for the link! Very interesting. I've just started a teaching post at a University in Edinburgh and have been teaching a bunch of students hwo to get from their PSD layouts, to wireframes, to basic HTML structure, to adding styles and making the layout work. it's been a really interesting process as I've had to get everything down to the bare essentails and see it from their perspective. I di think about doing something like your site, but never got the time and so it's all been done on paper and in Dreamweaver. I'm going to send them a link to your site, as they'll find it really useful!
April 14, 200818 yr (Unrelated) That is excellent news Eskymo! I'd love to teach people web design, maybe I should wait until I've finished uni first!
April 15, 200818 yr Darn it, why didn't you do it two months ago? This is an awesome tutorial for beginners. Very clever and interesting. Good luck!
April 15, 200818 yr Excellent Idea. Congrats! This should certainly make life a bit simpler for those learning the basics of coding etc. Good Job!
April 15, 200818 yr It seems to stick on a certain page, yesterday I couldn't get past page 26, today I can not access page 29. It is very useful indeed, made me realise I was approaching the design element of web design totally wrong! Thanks

May 5, 200818 yr I'm loving the footer! Was that always like that or have you just added that indentation - looks great! Maybe when I'm back online at the end of May you'll have this site finished! I only see "Footer" in the footer. You sure you're feeling ok Eskymo?
May 5, 200818 yr oops - I meant to post that in the thread about your website Rob - too many tabs open! Sorry for the confusion.
