September 10, 201115 yr Hi, I have set up an ecommerce site using UK2's web builder & now I am trying to integrate Barclay's ePDQ CPI checkout software which will link customers to the bank's site to pay... similar to ebay & paypal's checkout service at the moment. The web builder set up the site and it's coded in php and everything is in a structure that I don't understand (I know HTML, CSS and a little Javascript) so I am struggling to set it up and just wondering if anyone has set one up in the past and that could give me any help on. Thanks in advance!
September 11, 201115 yr Author I've not used their web builder software, but have seen similar software. I dare say for something like ecommerce you;d be betetr going with something open source. I personally don't trust web builder software at all. Thank you for the reply... yeah the structure of the web builder is confusing and hard work. I will have to look into open source and see what I can contruct out of it but learning it all first... Thanks for the advice!

I have installed this for numerous sites without any problem, and you can download the module free. You will need an ssl on the site to use anything like this though.

I'm looking into OSCommerce 3.02 now but might still change my mind... while i'm backing up my files on my host & I already have a SSL Certificate so it's all good Edited September 11, 201115 yr by Saulouk
September 11, 201115 yr Could you tell me what code it's written in? PHP, with smarty tpl files for the 'theme' which isn't as hard as people think - it's mainly the same as standard html I would not recommend oscommerce at all personally
September 11, 201115 yr Author Prestashop uses PHP and MySQL. In my opinion, there are many better solutions than oscommerce. Yes, I've tested on one of my servers and now I am trying to install on the proper host but I get the 404 Not Found error when I'm trying to install it? Any ideas what it may be? I've checked the permissions and all the requirements are all ok... I might move to a new host, currently i'm with UK2 but they are now charging £28+VAT a month and I think that's too much... need to look for a new host! Thanks for your help!
