April 11, 200818 yr A know a wiki isn't a CMS but I couldn't think where else to post this... A colleague of mine needs to develop a wiki platform. I know there are plenty of open source wikis out there but I've never really had any experience with them. The kind of things he wants is calendar, collaborating on articles, uploading downloadable documents, and some kind of discussion forum. It's possible he could combine a standalone forum with a standalone wiki if there isn't a combined option. Does anyone have any ideas and suggestions? Thanks
April 11, 200818 yr Mediawiki is probably the best as it looks like wikipedia http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki Plus you can have discuss things for each of the things you add to the wiki...not really a forum though or you could look under the wiki section of this site: http://www.opensourcecms.com/
