Integrat Twitter and Facebook in website?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am looking for some advice. I am due to begin military training training, and I know communication may be a bit difficult with family and friends back home.

What I was hoping to do, was create a single page on my website that integrates my twitter and facebook feeds with a particular hash tag. It saves trying to teach the less technically savvy family members how to follow me and check twitter when they can just bookmark the page to the website.

So when I make a post and hashtag it #aparticulartag or maybe just when I write to @aparticularperson it will show up on the feed? The same for pictures?

That way, I can update everything from by BlackBerry.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Thanks,

Amnesia

I would think your easiest solution would be to grant your Facebook page access to your Twitter.

Then, whatever you post on your page, posts to Twitter.

You can then make a basic page that displays your Twitter feed - or just point people to your Twitter.

As mike said above on another note, keep your head down and chin up, good luck with the training :)

use facebook plugins to integrate facebook to your website. you can also use facebook dashboard widget. for Twitter, you can use jQuery twitter plugins to put your tweets on your site
