Javascript

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone.

If some one could help me out on this I would really appreciate it. I seem to be having an absolute nightmare with Javascript.

I have set a Wordpress blog on my hosts server, and have it all installed and working fine. I then created a template in PS and tried leaning to cut it, (did not workout to well) so I ended up ditching half the design to use an automated online converter. Although very good, I don't have the skills in Web design to resolve it.

Problem is, I get the blog up and running, and then attached some Javascript to an email icon for emailing to a friend (script came from FreeTellaFriend dot com) and I really like the way it opens a new window and the set up, but for some reason, it has moved the email icon to the next line. I just cant get it to move back.

I have exactly the same issue with the facebook like button on my actual web site where it moved all the nav bar and header out of place. Only that time I wasn't cleaver enough to make a backup of the templates first.

If someone could help me out with this I would really appreciate it, but please go easy on my as I know very little HTML, no CSS and definitely no Javascript.

The blog is www {dot} gogood {dot} co {dot} uk / blog / brokencomputers

and the site is gogood {dot} co {dot} uk

Please forgive the lack of hyperlinks. Not sure what the rules are here for posting live links.

Kind Regards,

Kev.

You'd be better off posting the code here for us to have a look at.

Also online converters = cack.

Agreed, but my HTML, CSS and Java are even worse ;)

This are getting even worse over there, none of the links work correctly and the "read more" button take me no where. I should be able to deal with them, its just this JS that is killing me.

Not sure how much of this code you wanted so am trying to include most of the relevant section. Please let me know of you need more.

Thanks for the reply :drinks:
