In general, if i have a directory with only one file it, is is best to call it index.html so that it can be easily found and auto loaded if someone just types in the directory address, or to actually name it something (in this case bundles.html) Which is best for SEO??

 

My structure =

 

/products/exampleproduct/bundles.html

If its your homepage call it index.html. However if it is within a folder and you have links pointing to it from other pages then its best to call it something that involves keywords (just don't make it too long).

 

Try not to create too many folders, it will stand a better chance with a shorter URL.

The key points on site structure for SEO :

URL friendly named; meaningful and easier to read; the files and the folders are named readable.
