Hiya everyone. Just wondering if you will add your site to a webdesign directory like this? Although you can post your profile now, it's still need some sorting out.

 

I would like to hear your thoughts and critique on this. Just ignore the front end design component at the moment as it is not final yet.

Small remarks:

 

1. An issue with logo background
2. Too big useless empty space (or are you planning to use it for ads?)
3. Issues with right alignment.

I don't have as much a problem with the elements pointed out above. Only the logo background which is a bit of a schoolboy error and is easily rectified. Although I don't actually like the logo itself, it doesn't look very "designed". The colours are fine, I think the typeface is just a bad choice for a website about designers and could probably do with some sort of icon/graphic to accompany the words as part of the logo.

Many thanks for your feedback. As mentioned above, the design and layout is not quite final but I've taken on board your critiques.

 

It's more of about the functionality, signing up, placing your profile, navigation and speed load.
