Animated page pop up (similar to lightbox)

Featured Replies

Kind ahard for me to explain, but hope you all understand.

Similar to how a lightbox animates and pops up, I want to have a page that animated and pops up. This is javascript stuff right?

The idea is to clic kon a profile card it animates and pops up there's some bio and an little php form for email.

Now I'm not a novice webdesigner, can anyone explain how to do this or point me at tutorials?

I had to do something similar in work last week with an interactive map, we needed a form to pop out when you click on a region of the map.

I used ShadowBox for it, although I'm sure ColorBox would also give you the facility to put a form in there.

Does it work like this as well with ShadowBox or ColorBox?

What I did with Shadow box was create the form on it's own page and then opened that inside the shadow box.

You can control the dimensions of the box that shadowbox opens so you can put anything you want in it.

So for your case, I'd say create a page for each bio and then open up those pages.
