Hi,

 

Google have a new tool called "Google Code Search" - this allows you to search for text within the actual code of files. This can be potentially bad for people who have files on their server that are old back-ups/ Unused configuration files etc as people could exploit your passwords etc.

 

So it will be in your best interest to remove your old backups contained within archives for example .tgz .zip etc.
