March 17, 200818 yr Hi, Our company has a community based finance website. The template is very simple with a lot of text information. The dominating color is dark green (#006666) and a nominal use of orange (#cc6600). The linked texts come in blue #003399 and normal text in black. I have started using the orange color (#cc6600) for few headings. I personally feel that a bold text in this color is easily visible over white background. Though few of my team members say its not readable. Shall I continue with the same colors? Please suggest me.

I'd recommend listening to your colleagues, as it could be that the color settings on your screen are showing things are darker/brighter than most people. Never trust just one computer for testing To see if colours have an acceptable contrast, you could use the colour contrast checker at Snook.ca. If you input your background and foreground colours, it will tell you the level of contrast, and if it passes accessibility guidelines. Rob

March 17, 200818 yr I have attached the latest version of the colour contrast analyser for simplicity. Very useful tool in determining acceptability of font colouring etc. HTH. Regards Scott CCA1.1.zip
