I was just wondering is it possible to make slide shows with CSS by not using Flash.

 

I want to show all my projects on my portfolio on my front page showing 3 at a time, then having left & right buttons on each side showing the next 3 projects.

 

Hope this makes sense.

 

I know the basics of CSS & HTML, so it shouldn't be a problem getting all technical with me...

Not by itself I'd imagine. jQuery is the way to go if you don't want to use Flash (which you shouldn't so yay you!).

Can be done with CSS3, but jQuery's your best bet until browser support improves.

jQuery is a JavaScript library, which simplifies the language (to an immense degree). It can animate objects (that have a position of something other than static/auto, I should point out for you now) and dynamically change content.

 

Check it out, if you need any help getting started I'm sure you'll be able to get lots of help from here, and there's a wealth of information and documentation on jQuery on the internet.

What do you want to know about becoming a freelancer? I've not been doing it long myself, I only started learning last March.

Well not to sure where to start, Im constantly changing my portfolio website but I dont have any projects that ive actually worked on.. People are going to look on my site and see I haven't done anything ? How can i get my self heard and get out there if you know what i mean.
