January 26, 201115 yr Hi Guys, Im in need of some major help!! I am creating a portfolio website for an artist friend of mine. We are currently considering the design and functionality of the site. My problem is that he wants a slideshow that navigates through the images in that topic by clicking next and previous (not auto). There are then several topics so each (topic)page would consist of different images. Another problem is that these images are all different sizes. I am assuming there is a JQuery function but have not yet used JQ so any help or tutorials to look at would be great. I have attached the files done so far but this is just to show an outline of the design idea so far. Cheers guys website.zip

I'd probably use coda slider, it's a really nice jQuery slider and there's a couple of variations of it... some allow adjustable containers depending on the images inside. The functions of the slider are great too as you can customise the jQuery & CSS a lot to suite exactly what you need. This website offers the source files and a nice amount of advice on how to use it. Once you've done your first one it's pretty quick doing others! Practice makes perfect. As for the image resizing issue this doesn't really solve that problem! Not like coda anyway x P.S the rest of his site is really nice and the scripts are really clear on how to use!
