January 18, 201115 yr We just launched a splash page for our website. Check it out and tell me if you like it guys. Yeah! http://vidobounce.com
January 19, 201115 yr Look at other successful splash pages that haven't given away what their app does and try and drop hints about what it does. Check this one out: http://lettercaseapp.com/ I'm not saying copy but replicate the effect that this site has used that creates mystery but without annoying people. Your site annoyed me because it gave me no clue what I was signing up for. Also, the title was waaaay to arrogant that I felt uncomfortable handing you my email address. The logo is also very unclear and obscured by your background image. Hope that helps and good luck launching your product/app/whatever
January 19, 201115 yr I agree. I don't see what two girls? have to do with the app. It generated no interest from me. The graphics were also poorly done. Sorry.
January 19, 201115 yr It seems like you have a good idea put have poorly executed it... The first issue here is - What is this amazing app?! What does it do? That message should be clear as day. The second thing is the graphics - they clash too much with the background (as mentioned) and they look a little over done. Less is more sometimes and especially with apps. The most contemporary app logo designs are usually some of the most simple. Other things to consider: Your button is from the 90's. Your text box is also from the 90's. The camera in the picture isn't visible... Perhaps try background: url(whatever.jpg) top; Just my opinion - hope it helps. Edit: If you're gonna be real picky too - I'd 301 your URL to make sure people only get the www version. I'd also reword your page title to be something more keyword rich / SEO friendly, maybe: Free iPhone Camera App | Free iPhone App | VidoBounce I agree. I don't see what two girls? have to do with the app. I think it's a video app and if you right click, view background image (lol, never a good sign), you can see that they're filming themselves on a handheld.
