Hi

 

I'm new to website development and I have only used ms publisher for building sites. I have comt to realise that this software is very difficult to manage and it take quite a long toime to updat sites through it. The site I am planning on building could easily run to a few thousand pages over time.

 

I was wondering if you could tell me what would be the best development software or cms would be the best for me to develop such a large site. I know very little about html coding so a wysiwyg system or a html editor with a comprehensive help system or support would be needed for myself. If possible I would prefer pc-based software rather than web-based. If you could give as many suggestions as you can think of and list them in order of ease to use I would greatly appreciate it.
